Missing Link - 6.0% Oak Aged Nectarine Sour Ale. 375 ml.
A sour ale brewed with Indian long peppers, aged in a Syrah red wine barrel for eight months, then refermented with a generous amount of nectarines (leaving in a small percentage of the nectarine pits) for several additional months.
Pours golden like the flesh of a nectarine and capped with a bright white head. A delicate nose of stone fruit with a subtle hint of the Indian long pepper. Further aromatics include citrus, hay, oak and funk. The flavour is fresh and juicy nectarines, nectarine pits, lemony/tangerine citrus and vanilla up front with a zesty, earthy finish. The oak aging gives the palate a soft texture with a full rounded body. The light acidity, dryness and effervescence leaves a tingly carbonation with each sip, bringing you back for more.
