7.5% Chamomile Ginger Cinnamon Lemon Honey Sour Ale
Burnout Generation • 355 ml
Burnout Generation • 7.5% Sour ale brewed with flaked wheat & oats, chamomile, ginger, cinnamon, lemon zest, vanilla, and local buckwheat honey!
We’ve long been fans of tea-inspired elements in our beer. Tea is great for relaxing and winding down, perfect for a constant state of exhaustion. Blending some of our favourite soothing ingredients; chamomile, ginger, cinnamon, lemon, and vanilla, the combination intermingles for a delightfully tasty and calming sour ale. The local buckwheat honey along with the flaked wheat and oats adds to the body and gives it a soft, silky texture. Very nice.

6.0% Pineapple Yuzu Cocktail Sour Ale
Avec • 355 ml
In collaboration with @avec_rabbit -- A cocktail inspired sour ale made with pineapple, yuzu, lemon zest, milk sugar & a hint of anise!
AVEC (formerly Okazu 85 Downie) in Stratford is a worker-owned restaurant that serves up amazing artisan cocktails and tasty snacks. We got together to make a beer based on their delicious signature yuzu sour cocktail. For now, this beer will have to fill the void of those delicious cocktails until their return.
This collaboration was intended to be timed for the opening of AVEC, after a transition to their new location. Sadly, with all that is going on, the opening has been delayed. But we’ll certainly be saving some cans for when they’re back up and running.
In the meantime, locals can support these wonderful and hard-working entrepreneurs by visiting @pollomorta -- another of their fantastic restaurants, this one serving up their famous fried chicken for take-out. And you can bet when restaurants are back open and we’re all able to travel again, we’ll be recommending, as always, @redrabbitresto & @oldmanandson. So keep all these in mind for your next visit to the area, whenever things get back to normal.
